Searcher-hours = area × coverage ÷ (sweep width × speed). POD ≈ 1 − e−coverage. Sweep width is effective, not visual — adjust for vegetation, light, and subject.

      The quartile tables are Robert Koester's copyrighted work and are not distributed with this app. These are the legitimate sources — the book is $32 and the mobile app works offline. Numbers you enter stay on your device and export only when you choose.
